

Chuck to some, Charlie to others was an adventurous spirit willing to attempt anything at least once. He loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. He was a devoted golfer, playing every day earning many trophies and awards including MN golfer of the year, club and senior champion at both Como and the U of M golf courses, low qualifier from Colorado for the 1st US Sr. Olympics, 1st alternate for the US Open, and received an invitation for the US Sr. Professional Tour, just to name a few. He was a member of Como's Men's Club for 66+ years. He also excelled in skiing, skydiving and swimming.
He had a great sense of humor and would often come up with a humorous quip at the most unlikely moment. Charlie was a member of Accacia Masonic Lodge #51 and Rainbow Chapter #276, Order of the Easter Star. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Charlie is survived by his wife Joyce; son, Patrick; daughter, Sharon; grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Nora (Sundlie); son, Michael and sister, Carol.
