Passed away suddenly on October 25, 2014. Jim was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed fishing and cheering for the MN sports teams. He was kind and gentle and had a heart of gold; he was loved by many and will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by father, William “Jack” Phipps and mother, Karen M. Schulte. Survived by brother, Jerry Phipps (Jackie); sister, Kristi Miller (Todd); brother, Matthew Schulte (Stacy); step-father, Leonard Schulte; loving companion, Kadji Richards; nieces, Brianne & Brittany Phipps; great-niece, Bryley; many aunts, uncles, cousins and too many friends to mention. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to family. Visitation: 4 – 8 PM, Thursday, October 30th, with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM, at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave, St. Paul. Graveside Service: 2 PM, Fri Oct 31 at Resurrection Cemetery, 2101 Lexington Ave, Mendota Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.
