Born Feb 28, 1921 in London, England, passed away Sept 15, 2013. She was drafted and assigned to the Land Army where she met and married US soldier, Edward Vesel. After WWII ended, she was reunited in 1946 with her husband in MN. Joan is preceded in death by her Husband of 50+ Years, Edward; Son, Fredrick; Son-in-Law, Richard Emery and Two Grandchildren. She is survived by her Children, Kathleen (John) Walker, Edward (Sharon), Christopher (Nell), Bonita Emery, Mathew (Mary), Celeste (Jim) Burton, Gregory (Cindy); Nineteen Grandchildren and 20 Great-Grandchildren. A Celebration of Joan's Life will be held Friday, September 20, at 4:00 pm at the Home of Matt & Mary Vesel, 6433 - 20th Ave. S., Lino Lakes, MN 55038. Memorials are preferred to the family.
