Of St. Paul

Started her eternal journey on Sunday morning, January 17, 2016. LeAnn Gail Kelley was born Jan. 30, 1933 to Ellen and George Kelley in Immanuel Hospital in Mankato, MN. She graduated from Garden City High School in May 1951. The Northwestern Hospital School of Nursing certified her nursing degree Sept. 9, 1954 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health Nursing from the U of M. She was a very caring visiting nurse for Ramsey Cty until her retirement. She enjoyed her patients and the various cares she afforded them. In April 1975 LeAnn married Lawrence LaCourse and they had a cabin in Grygla as well as their home in St. Paul. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence and brother, Meredith Wayne Kelley. LeAnn is survived by her brothers, Frederic A. (Carol Gray) Kelley and Gene (Barbara) Kelley; special friend, John Murray; and many nieces, nephews, and other immediate family. In lieu of flowers, LeAnn preferred memorials to St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, Amherst H. Wilder Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association. Visitation will be Thursday, January 21 from 4-7 PM. Funeral Service will be Friday, January 22 at 10 AM with visitation one hour prior at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave, St. Paul. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
