Lila Mae Glocke

She was received by her Lord March 2, 2025 during her 99th year. Lila was baptized on January 31, 1926, and confirmed June 14, 1939 at Trinity Lutheran, Waseca MN. Lila moved to Minneapolis in 1944, and was engaged to George Glocke in 1947, whom she married in Waseca, MN October 16, 1948. George and Lila raised three sons and were married 55 years.

Lila was our family matriarch who loved Jesus and whose faith was unwavering. She was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church since 1952. She loved being surrounded by family and friends, a social butterfly who loved to visit and play games. Lila was gracious, honest, and compassionate. Those who knew her spoke often of her joyful spirit and Christian faith.

Lila has reunited with her husband George, her parents August and Clara Schultz, her siblings Edward, Glenn, Robert, and Helen, along with many friends and family in heaven. Her spirit lives on through her three sons Michael (Patricia), Mark (Karen), Matthew (Stacy), nine grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren. She will be missed by many.

A Funeral will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 11 am, with a visitation one hour prior, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 674 Johnson Parkway Saint Paul, MN 55106.
