Lynne M. Walcheski

Of St. Paul

Passed away peacefully on August 8, 2012 surrounded by her family at New Harmony Care Center. She had struggled with many illnesses over the years. She was born on January 31, 1943 in St. Paul, the daughter of Robert & Victoria (Brastad) Johnson. She met and married the love of her life, Ronald J. Walcheski when she was in her teens. Together they raised a loving family with four children. Lynne had enjoyed her work as a Volunteer Coordinator for Meals on Wheels. The family extends special thanks to HealthEast Hospice for their care and support in Lynne’s final days.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; Sister, Karen Johnson; Brother-in-Law, Robert Sievert; and Granddaughter, Jaclynne Rachel Walcheski. Lynne will remain in the hearts of her Husband of 52 years, Ronald; Daughters, Deb (Mike) Theis & Jayne Blackwell; Sons, James Walcheski & Bob (Cleo Dee) Walcheski; Seven Grandchildren: Rebecca (Eric) Heins, Kala Ann Walcheski, Samantha Jean Walcheski, Joshua Lawrence Walcheski, Jessica Lynne Walcheski, John LeRoy Blackwell & Paul Michael Theis; Two Great-Grandsons, Timothy Jr. & Nicholas Borrman; Brother, David (Joanie) Johnson; Sisters, Judy Sievert, Vicki (Dick) Voss & Christine (Mark) Scheller; Nieces, Nephews, Extended Family & Friends.

A Funeral Service will be held for Lynne at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 13 at Wulff Godbout Funeral Home, 560 W. 7th Street, St. Paul. Visitation one hour prior. Interment in Riverview Cemetery. Memorials may be designated to the donor’s choice.
