Jackie was a special family friend...she was our daughter's sponsor at her confirmation, and visited me at the hospital when I had my surgery..we will all miss her sense of humor and her friendship..........from the Alfonso Family

Will miss you Jackie and remembering how you instilled in me some very good skills in hair styling and cutting technique that I carry to this day. You made me work with that marcel iron on those manikans, every day,  each moment I was not booked. I was not happy aboput this and being 19 years old didn't help! Now I'm so thankful for being so super efficient with that iron!! I think about you every time I pick up a marcel iron... You made me the stylist Iam today. Your example of loyalty to your clients and devotion to be accomodating and flexability in scheduling has also carried on into my career. I only wanted to come and thankyou. I didn't find the time and never got the chance...I regret this very much but had thought of you so many times over the years. I will see you someday again and I can thankyou when we meet again my friend.

Thank you all for your support at the wake tonight.  Over 450 people showed up to share with the Dickinson family and to give respect to our mom, Mary "Jackie" Dickinson.  She was a special person, touched many peoples lives and will be soarly missed.  All of your love, prayers and kind words for our mom and family is very much appreciated.  Thank you and god bless!

The love and support that we have received thru this trying time is very special to the Dickinson family.  I want to say thank you to all of you for your help in making arrangements in preparation for a special couple days for our mother.  We have received many phone calls, e-mails and text messages trying to get the word out of her passing on to a special place in life.  With such a short period of time in trying to get the word out, please help our family in making some phone calls, e-mails and text messages about the wake and funeral so the many people who were touched by our mothers life can come and share with us the found memories.  Thank you all Douglas Dickinson and the Dickinson family.

Danny, Doug and Dennis and Families--I am so sorry for your loss.  I will miss my dear friend Jackie especially all the calls.  She is one of my dearest friends and our hearts were joined when we traveled through France.  She was the kindest, funniest, most generous woman and had her own style.  I appreciated her honesty and willingness to share her advice.  Miss Jacki O, I will miss you.  I hope to see you on the other side!!!

Sorry to learn Jackie passed. It rekindled pleasant thoughts of years gone by. Hair shows at the house, hanging around Patricks, WBABA, road trip to see Box Car Willie... Wish I could attend the services.

Gods Blessings to the ones left behind. It is not hard to leave this world it is hard to stay with out the ones that have left. I am sorry for your loss. In reading the obituarys I bet Jackie was in heaven while she was here on earth I know she always wanted to have a girl and she had 4 boys and I asked her one time are you going to try for another one she said on no. But by looking at all of her grandchildren she had many girls to spoil.
