Nancy will be deeply missed by husband of 35 years, Dave; children, Chris (Amber) and Elizabeth Schiller; granddaughter, Luna Schiller; brother, Ken Hansen; and many beloved friends and family. She was preceded in death by parents, Herb and Helen Hansen; daughter, Kristina.
Nancy was baptized at Hope Lutheran Church and remained an active member of Hope for the rest of her life. She worked at the IRS as a tax auditor and the National Treasury Employee’s Union as a secretary. She loved her time working at both and made many lifelong friendships over the years.
She was passionate about singing and deeply involved with The White Bear Choral Association and Hope Lutheran Choir. She also cherished her groups The Red Hat Ladies and The Ladies who Lunch. She adored her friends and treasured all the wonderful times they had.
We want to make sure everyone feels as safe and comfortable as possible during this pandemic. Covid precautions will be taken, masks required and social distancing is encouraged. Areas will also be set up for overflow in the downstairs of the church. Please stay home if you’re feeling ill.
Due to Covid a Celebration of Life luncheon will be held in the summertime to share stories and celebrate her legacy. We hope you can join us and ask that you send your contact info so we may include everyone she held dear to her. All are invited.
Please join us to share memories and honor Nancy’s life. Visitation will begin at 10am until time of service at 11am on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Hope Lutheran Church, 1340 Hazel St. N, St. Paul. The service will be livestreamed. Burial at Union Cemetery, Maplewood for immediate family.
