Norm was a WWII veteran, and spent over 20 years as a mail carrier – and was a 60-year member of NALC-Branch 28. He was an avid MN Twins fan. He was a fourth generation Salvationist, and his love of The Salvation Army’s brass band was no secret. He played horn in the St. Paul (Lakewood) Temple band for many years. Norm loved to volunteer with The Salvation Army’s Red Kettles and Emergency Disaster Services, because he loved people, and he loved to talk! Most important to him was his family and his love for God.
A funeral will be held at The Salvation Army Lakewood Temple, 2080 Woodlynn Ave, Maplewood, MN on Sunday, 11/1 at 3pm, with visitation at 2pm. Memorials preferred to The Salvation Army Lakewood Temple Corps, Maplewood, MN.
