To all of Rox's family.  Joe, Megan, Tommy & Lisa.  
I just want you to know how special your mom was to me.  
We worked together from the start of her career in Criminal court.  She was the light of our old office when you kids were young and getting into trouble-but you have all turned out to make her so proud, I cannot tell you how much she enjoyed her kids as you matured and became parents.  Your greatest gift to her was just being her kids and letting her share all you with all of us.  She never stopped talking about the good and the bad as you were growing up.  I will miss her like crazy and I'm so sad I didn't get to come and see her before she went to heaven to be with Mike -the love of her life.  They were meant to be together and when I would come over after work to visit after Mike passed I could see how sad she really was she asked me if I wanted to watch the memorial again and of course I did, watched her with a smile on her face watching him.   Her grandkids filled the void but in her heart she was sad.  She did say to me one of the last times I came over 'well, at least I know I'll get to see Mike again soon' so tonight when they were talking about the video of Mikes memorial stopping my heart skipped a beat knowing it was Mike, he was a prankster and I am going to smile and say it's true, it was Mike letting her know he's standing waiting for her.  I was to upset to come see all of you, not sure if you would remember me either but I couldn't stay for dinner, please know I will pray for her and hope she will come to me in one of my dreams-where we will say something stupid, laugh and swear like a sailor and then laugh again.  I loved that girl like a sister, crazy best friend and I will miss her dearly.  
Thank you for putting on the nicest memorial I've ever been to in honor of you mom.  
Please take care and don't let those kids miss anything funny about their nana-keep her alive in their hearts and yours.

I've been friends with Roxanne for 45 years. When she found out the stupid cancer was back and this time it was terminal, we talked about death and dying and what heaven was like etc... She was not afraid to die. She was excited to meet Jesus and see Mike again and our best friend Deb. I loved her with all my heart. She will be greatly missed. 

Roxanne was a wonderful person and an exemplary public servant.  I had the good fortune to work with her throughout the court system.  She was always very knowledgeable, helpful and a joy to be around.  She always spoke fondly of her family.  She will be missed by many.

I worked with Roxanne for quite a few years and she was such a joy to be around and she had a great sense of humor.   I'm sad her life was cut short but glad she's not suffering anymore.  Roxanne, I will miss seeing you.   "I love you man!".    Rest in peace sister!

Roxanne was a joy to know. She had a quiet wisdom and warmth that was so nice to be around. She also had a realistic but persevering spirit these last years as she fought her cancer. I so enjoyed talking with her and serving with her at church. My favorite conversations for a while all centered around the kittens we both got from Joe & Megan's litter. She got the hell cat and I got the slightly less hell cat. We had a lot of laughs about those cats and showing each other our latest bite and scratch marks. But, we loved them still. I will miss you Roxanne. My heart goes out to all of you in your loss.

What a sweetheart. These last few years were not easy. .We do not always get the things we want in life...to witness her dignity and grace has been a gift. Blessings to the family. 

Celebration of Life

Roxanne is preceded in death by her Husband, Mike; Parents, Charles and Dolores Reed; and Sisters, Ellen Maas and Jackie Koehnen.

She is survived by her Children, Joseph (Megan) Masanz, Thomas Masanz, and Lisa (Lance) Grenzow; Step-Children, Sara (Doug) Engelstad and Patrick Flynn; Grandchildren, Roxi Lu Simones and Gunnar Grenzow, Alexis Masanz, and Bella Engelstad; Siblings, John Reed and Suzie Kirchner; many Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.
