Passed away peacefully on June 5, 2022. Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Susie is preceded in death by father, Elwood and brother, Steve. She will be greatly missed by husband Dave, son Kyle (Jen), mother Dolores Jensen, brother Scott Jensen, sister Sheri (Tom) Peterson, sisters in law Pam (Tony) Bailey and Kathy (Dave) Nobles, Nieces Jenna (Alex) Fons, Kelsey (Sam) Rohe, Meghan (Nick) Nobles, nephews Justin Peterson, Brian (Erica) Westrum, Patrick Nobles, loving neighbors, Deshay and Aaliyah, and many other close friends and family.
Susie loved to garden and had many beautiful gardens throughout her yard. She would always have a beautiful bouquet of flowers in her house and made sure her mom did as well. She took pride in her State Fair blue-ribbon salsa and her spaghetti sauce. Susie was an amazing cook and would use a recipe as a guideline adding her own touch to whatever she made. Susie had a smile that could light up a room and a laugh that would resonate through the walls. Susie always had a story or two to share. Most of them would evolve from time spent on grandma’s farm growing up.
She worked as a flight attendant for nearly forty years. A job well suited for her as she loved to travel, and she had a natural caring instinct. Susie loved everyone for who they were. If you needed something she was there to help, if you needed to talk, she was there to listen and always had a shoulder to lean on. She was an amazing mom and always put her family first.
A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday June 25, 2022 at 3:00 PM at House of Prayer Lutheran Church 6039 40th Street North at Highway 120, Oakdale. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
God looked around His garden
And He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this earth,
And saw your beautiful face.
He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always by our side,
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
