Was welcomed into his heavenly home by his loving Savior, his parents and other loved ones, on Sun., 11/1. Virg was very proud of his years of service in the US Army and his 37 years working at 3M. In his retirement he restored tractors and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Survived by wife, Arlene; daughters, Gayle (Andrew) Krause, Lynda (Scott) Larson, Amy (Rick) Sherrard; grandchildren, Nathaniel (Abria) Krause, Justin (Lindsey) Krause, Nicole (Nate) Grobe, Corey Krause, Angela Larson, Josette Larson, Benjamin Sherrard, Tanya Sherrard, Nadya Sherrard, Matthew Sherrard, Emily Sherrard; great-grandson, Blake Grobe; sister, Gwendolyn Stehr; sister-in-law, Carla Erickson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family. Visitation on Wed., 11/4, 4-8PM at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave., St. Paul. Service on Thurs., 11/5, 11AM at Divinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1655 E. Cottage Ave., St. Paul, with visitation 1 hr. prior. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Divinity Evangelical Lutheran Church or St. Croix Lutheran High School.
