Passed away surrounded by his loving family February 18th. He was our hero…his life was a great adventure…He was a very gifted jack of all trades, a mechanic, a home builder, a business owner, inventor, volunteer fire fighter at East County Line Fire Department for many years. Bill always enjoyed his time at the lake and eventually made it his home. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed reminiscing about the good old days of growing up in Oakdale, MN and always had a story to tell. With Bill it was always about the fun and spending time with him was always a great joy. He is survived by daughters, Jodi (Don) Golda, Kelly (Bob) Martini; Mother of his girls, Linda; his pride and joy were his grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Hayley, Riley, and Reid; step-grandchildren, Matt and Maria; siblings, Bettie (Joe) Friberg, Don (Claudia), Butch (Ralane), Sharon Kotke, Marcy Bilder (Jerry Juen); sister-in-law, Pat Wilkerson; and many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Agnes; brother Stan; nephew, Michael; brothers-in-law, Jerry and Ed. A gathering of family and friends at 3PM, Tues., February 28, service at 5PM at Beaver Lake Lutheran Church, Maplewood, MN.
