Zerita C Hendricks

Zerita was born April 13th, 1924 to Stephania and William A Cumming Sr, in St Paul Park, Minnesota. She was the last living member of 8 children when she passed away on April 14th, 2023 at the age of 99 years.

Zerita married George Patrick Hines and together they raised a family of 6 children. Patrick Stephen Hines, III, who predeceased his mother last year, Kevin Alan Hines (Jan), Margaret - Muggs Koperski, Rita Jane Kloss, Maureen Hines, and Jenifer (Scott) Anfang . Her family lovingly cared for Zerita after her husband Eugene Hendricks passed away in 2010.

Zerita was a warm, loving grandmother to 17. Julie, Jeffrey, Stacey, Stephen, Ayndrea, Jordan, Eric, Lindsay, Todd, Allison, Keith, Alanna Zerita, Dain, Kevin, Nicholas, Jamie, and Tim. There are also 25 great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren.

Zerita was a beautiful, spirited, clever and resourceful woman. She designed and sewed bridal gowns as well as most of her children’s clothing, and for the sisters at Sacred Heart parish school.

Later in a new career, Zerita became a Board Certified Electrologist and Permanent make-up artist and mentored other electrologists in the aesthetic industry.

Zerita will be remembered for her warmth and welcoming manner to family, friends and the clients she served. She treated all people she met with kindness, genuine caring and usually a hug.

Mom will be missed everyday and always remembered with so much love.
