Dennis Keith Paschedag, 70, of Suwanee, GA, went home to be with the Lord at 7:05 am on Sunday March 8, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, March 16, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Cumming, with Pastor Bob Jolly officiating.
Dennis was born in Granite City, IL on March 12, 1955. He graduated from Roxana High School in 1973. He then attended the University of Illinois, where he majored in finance. He met his sweetheart, Carol Nordstrom on the first day of classes. They graduated in May of 1977, and were married three months later on August 6th.
He worked as a district manager and director in pharmaceutical sales for Upjohn, Pharmacia and Pfizer. Later in life he worked in Marketing for Golden Rule Hospice. He got his MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern University. He was a very hard worker, who received many sales achievement awards throughout his career. He and his family moved often when he received promotions at his job.
He was a Sunday school teacher and deacon at many churches throughout his life. Sharing his love of Christ was his number one priority. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and field trials during his free time. He loved history, genealogy, studying Native American culture, and had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge.
There was nothing more important to Dennis than his family. He loved having family dinners, laughter and conversation, and watching Jeopardy with his wife every night. There was nowhere he’d rather be than at home with his whole family.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Carol (Nordstrom) Paschedag, of Suwanee, GA. Daughters: Sonya Paschedag of Suwanee, GA, Jori Anna Gibson of Cumming, GA, and Danielle Paschedag of Duluth, GA. Grandchildren: Russell Gibson and Lilianna Willets of Cumming, GA. Siblings: Jim (Kitty) Paschedag of Worden, IL, Cathy David of Edwardsville, IL, Diane (Steve) Wilson of Florissant, MO, and Tom (Sherri) Dustin of Port St. Lucie, FL. He is preceded in death by his wonderful parents, Charles and Amy Paschedag.
Dennis glorified God, no matter which fork in the road he was granted, so that others could draw strength from it. He was so strong in his faith. We are blessed to know that he is now reunited with our Heavenly Father, the great creator of all things, the giver of eternal life.
Flowers may be sent to First Baptist Church of Cumming. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, an organization near and dear to Dennis’ heart.
