About

Whether you envision a simple cremation memorial with a champagne toast, a traditional religious service with a catered reception, or a creative celebration with live music, favorite foods and thoughtful mementos, South Forsyth Memorial Chapel helps you and your family honor a loved one in the way that feels right.

South Forsyth Memorial Chapel serves families from Gwinnett, Fulton and Forsyth counties, including those who live in Cumming, Johns Creek, Milton and Suwanee. We invite you to visit us and see how we’re different. We’d love to get to know you.

A chapel that inspires, receptions reimagined

Set at the corner of Granite Way and Peachtree Parkway, our new celebration of life center is unlike anything else in the Atlanta area. With an open-concept design, soaring ceilings, exposed beams and expansive windows that bathe the space in natural light, the 8,900-square-foot venue feels more like a stylish friend’s home, art gallery or boutique hotel than a traditional funeral home.

Every element has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the preferences of today’s families for personalization, beauty and connection. From intimate family gatherings to large-scale celebrations, this is a space where memories are honored, cultures are embraced and every detail tells a story.

The chapel seats around 200 guests. A stained-glass accent and double-sided fireplace offer elegant, contemporary focal points, while high ceilings and clean architectural lines create an uplifting atmosphere. With flexible seating and state-of-the-art audio-visual technology—including options for livestreaming and virtual services—it’s a truly modern environment for funerals, multicultural ceremonies and creative celebrations.

Set with round tables and Chiavari chairs, the chapel holds around 100 guests for a catered lunch, jazz brunch or candlelit dinner. No matter your wishes, we can bring your vision to life, with personal touches and carefully considered details throughout.
