Aida Del Valle Rodriguez

Aida DelValle Rodriguez, 89, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born in 1936, in Tampa, FL, Aida lived a life with kindness and generosity. She was a beloved teacher for over 35 years, inspiring countless students with her love, patience and creativity. Aida loved being an active member of St. Joseph’s Church as well as an active leader in the Tampa Catholic Charismatic Group. She loved her family and her friends fiercely. She was a shining light and had a profound impact on the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was marked by love, compassion and her unwavering faith in God. Her dedication to her faith and her desire to bring light to those in need epitomized her generous nature.

Those who knew Aida will remember her for her sassy attitude, infectious laughter, her deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and her unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness, leaving a lasting impact on those who crossed her path.

Aida is survived by her loving daughters Aida Rodriguez (James), Anna Cunningham (James), her grandchildren, Felicia, Armando Jr. (Papo), Olga, Amber, Thor, Ysabel and Klaus. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren, Dominic, Tomas, Lucas, Max, Analia and a great-great granddaughter, Catalina. Her family will carry her love forward. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Felipe Rodriguez and their daughter, Leticia Taylor (survived by husband, Armando).

Although Aida's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth her legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.

The family will receive friends at the Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 N. Dale Mabry Hwy., Tampa, FL 33614 on Thursday, March 26th from 6:00pm - 8:00 pm. Mass will be held in her honor at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 3012 W. Cherry St., Tampa, FL 33607 on Friday March 27th at 10:00 am. Aida will be interred at Garden of Memories following the Mass.
