Born in El Paso, Texas on March 4, 1951, Alice graduated from Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio with degrees in Education and Fine Arts. She lived a life full of art, love, song, service, prayer and travel. Alice was a devoted teacher and gifted artist, specializing in pottery. Her friends and family are blessed with gorgeous gifts of her pottery that they will cherish.
During her life, Alice resided in El Paso TX, Albany GA, Tiffin OH, Columbus OH, Knoxville TN, Memphis TN, and Willits, CA prior to moving to Tampa 13 years ago with her partner to care for her aging parents. She felt that being exposed to so many places made her sensitive to diversity and open to varied arts and culinary joys.
Alice was always kind, generous, and greeted you with a smile and a song. Neighbors began to watch for her and join her on her daily treks to sing along.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled for July 30 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 4518 S. Manhattan Ave, Tampa, FL. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Alice’s life.
