Amelia Pineiro

Amelia Pineiro passed away on October 11, 2021, after a brief illness. She was 86 years old.

Amelia’s greatest love was her family. Her boys were proud to call her “mami” and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were proud to call her “abuela”. She was a gifted seamstress who worked tirelessly to support her family. She had a passion for the wellbeing of children and contributed to St. Jude Children’s for 40+ years even during difficult financial times. She was an incredibly loving and compassionate person and all who knew her loved her.

Amelia was predeceased by her son Tony. She is survived by her son Fred and wife Melissa, her daughter-in-law Bridgette, grandchildren Freddie, Heather, Derek, Danielle and Brandon, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. They invite you to join them for a celebration of life service. The celebration will be November 6 from 12pm – 3pm with a service at 2pm at Gonzalez Funeral Home on 7409 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa Florida. A celebration of life gathering for Amelia will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33614, followed by a celebration of life service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
