Consagra, Amy Lynn (Wilson), 52, passed away July 31st, 2015, at her home in Tampa, FL with her husband by her side. Amy was a long time animal activist and devoted much of her life to rescuing stray cats and finding homes for them. Her greatest love, however, was to care for her niece and nephew, Susannah and Christopher. Born in Evansville, Indiana, Amy moved to Florida in the 1980s. She received her bachelor’s degree from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg. She met her husband at Allstate in 1995 and married in 1997. Amy is survived by her husband, Brian Consagra of Tampa; sister, Susan (Wilson) Gerteisen, brother-in-law Mark Gerteisen, nephew and niece, Christopher and Susannah Gerteisen all of Tampa; mother, Jeanne Ann Crutchfield, of Tampa; father, David Wilson, of St. Petersburg. Services will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015, 11:00 am at the Blount Curry West Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Dr., Tampa.
