

Angelina Seijas was a native of Tampa, Florida. She grew up in West Tampa but spent most of her adult life living in the Beach Park neighborhood. She was a long time member of the Beach Park Women’s Club and Christ the King Catholic Church. When she was young, Angelina worked in the cigar industry where she met her husband of 50 years, Emilio Seijas. When she started her family, she became a homemaker and was known by family and friends for her cooking and baking skills. She was a very talented seamstress and enjoyed socializing with and sewing alongside her friends from sewing class. Angelina was also known for her passion as an amateur house designer and builder and left her mark on South Tampa building new homes with her husband every few years. Most of all, she was always recognized for her devotion to her family; her husband, her two daughters, and especially her granddaughter.
Angelina is predeceased by her husband Emilio Seijas and her daughter, Loraine Seijas Watson. Additionally, she is predeceased by her siblings George Huerta, Manuel Huerta, and Teresa Huerta Wilson. Angelina is survived by her daughter Marlene Seijas Gregory (husband Dr. William Schwartz) and her beloved granddaughter, Nicole Gregory. She is also survived by her brother Frank Huerta and numerous nieces and nephews.
