Antonio Flores Martinez, 87, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 27, 2021, in Tampa. Mr. Flores was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico. He honorably served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Flores served the Lord since his youth and retired from GMAC after a 40-year career.
He is predeceased by his wife, Gladys M. Flores; his parents and his siblings. He is survived by his children, Sara F. Aviles, Gladys Flores-Aviles, Eunice F. Miller and Dr. Tony Flores; his grandchildren, Laura, Pedro, Michael, Jennifer, Jason and Kristen; and his great-grandchildren, Leilany, Adrian, Kamila and Isabella.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, March 4, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33614. The burial with Military Honors will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102 Ave., Bushnell, FL 33513.
