TORRES, Berta (Spruill), 73 of Tampa passed away on Nov. 16th 2013. Visitation will be Wed. Nov. 20th from 5pm to 9pm and Service Thus., Nov. 21 10am at Gonzalez Funeral Home 7209 N. Dale Mabry Hwy Tampa, FL 33614 813-931-1833, burial to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Her children are Myrna Smith, Eduardo Smith, Oscar Smith, Luis Mena, Marco Mena, Jose Mena, and Indira Mena; and has 15 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Essau Spruill. Berta was born in Panama City, Panama; and belonged to the cohort generation of Roberto Munode Piedra Duran. In 1981 she migrated to New York and later was united with her children. Berta lived 32 years in the state of New York and worked hard to raise her children and always was a provider for her family. She will be greatly missed. " We will see you soon."
