

CLOBRIDGE, Carol, 67, of Palm Harbor passed away peacefully on October 1, 2018. She was born on March 19, 1951 to Roy Stanley and Helen (Winter) Clobridge in Evanston, Illinois. Carol graduated from Clearwater High School and went on to attend the University of South Florida where she earned her Master’s Degree in Audiology. Years later, she attended St. Petersburg College where she received her degree in funeral services. As a Licensed Funeral Director; Carol helped hundreds of grieving families over the years. She worked for Curlew Hills Funeral Home and managed the Blount and Curry-Oldsmar/West Hillsborough Chapel for several years. After she retired, she worked part-time for several local funeral homes, including Blount & Curry-Carrollwood, Blount & Curry-Terrace Oaks. Sylvan Abbey, Memorial Park, Beach Chapel, and Serenity Gardens. She will be missed by her son Matthew Clobridge and wife Abby; her mother, Helen Clobridge ; her brother Steven Clobridge; her best friend, Judy Bazata; and her furry companions, Henry and Tipper. Carol loved animals. As she crossed the Rainbow Bridge, she was surely greeted by many of her lost pets who were excited to see her again. Funeral Service will be held on November 1, 2018 at The Episcopal of the Ascension, Clearwater FL. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on November 2, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, Oldsmar/West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Drive, Tampa, FL 33615.
