17, of Tampa passed away March 18, 2021. This beautiful child was taken away far too soon from the family and friends who loved and adored him.
Charlie’s capacity for joy and kindness was boundless. He saw a friend in everyone he met. Anyone who knew him experienced unbridled affection and devotion.
Charlie’s friends and family relished being around him. His genuine, easygoing nature, jovial sense of humor and bright smile were his trademarks.
A junior at Plant High School, Charlie especially enjoyed spending time with his family and his wonderful group of friends, fishing, and visiting favorite places like Boca Grande, Bald Head Island and Whitefish, Montana.
Charlie loved dogs, America, pickup trucks, and the Bucs—he was over the moon with their Super Bowl victory.
He is survived by an adoring family including his mother Ashley, father Eric, sister Charlotte, grandparents Allen and Marci Arthur and Carol Ann and Dan Carl, aunts and uncles Meggen and Brian Wilson, Kristin and Peter Wray, and Peter Carl, along with cousins Meg, Elizabeth (Larson,) and Kimmons Wilson and Peyton, Simon and Oliver Wray.
May God wrap his arms around Charlie and bring him peace and rest.
A private family ceremony is being held to celebrate his wonderful life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Camp SeaGull for Boys, a place Charlie loved attending for many years.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
