
Chris DiPersio, 44 of Tampa, Florida (formerly of Hudson, MA) passed away on October 19, 2015 after a short battle with cancer, with his wife Allison by his side. Chris, was a dedicated family man who leaves his wife of 19 years Allison (Burkart) DiPersio, and his teenage son Trace, his mother Linda Sousa of Tampa, his father Robert DiPersio and wife Paulette of Zephyrhills a brother Peter DiPersio of Thomasville Georgia his grandmother, Mary Sousa of Tampa, father-in-law and mother-in-law Jack and Elaine Burkart of Largo, FL and a sister-in-law Jennifer and companion, Michael Hartog of Seminole, FL along with an Uncle, Aunts, cousins and other family members and close friends. Chris worked as a cabinet maker/machine operator at Mica Visions, Inc. and also as a statistician for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as well as USF Bulls. Chris enjoyed co-coaching his son’s baseball teams where his patience and wisdom shined through. He and his wife also bowled with the Shriners and were also members of the Moose Lodge for many years. He also enjoyed, golfing and fishing in his spare time. Chris was a friend to everyone he met and was loved for his kindness, sense of humor and known for his great hugs. There will be a Celebration of Life (date to be determined) in Tampa and a Scattering of Ashes Ceremony sometime next year in Massachusetts.
