Clayton Stanley Taylor, Jr. (Stan) passed away suddenly on December 27, 2017. Stan, the loving son of Clayton and Anna Taylor, was born in Akron, Ohio. After living in different states because of his father’s work, Stan settled in Tampa, Florida, in 1966, where he attended Coleman Middle School, Plant High School, and the University of South Florida, from which he graduated with a BA degree.
Stan was always interested in the Civil War and the intricacies of current politics. He was a voracious reader of non-fiction, and a lover of good movies and music. Despite numerous personal health issues, he remained concerned about those who were even worse off than he.
Stan is survived by his sister, Susan Taylor, and loving cousins and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
