McDONALD Jr., Daniel Patrick, 61, of Odessa passed away on January 21, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Mary; children, Leah Rollison and husband Clayton of South Carolina and Matt McDonald and wife Sarah of North Carolina; sisters, Cheryl Tanella of North Carolina and Diane Brown of Spring Hill; grandchildren, Gradyn Rollison, Wyatt Rollison, and Nash McDonald; and his furry companion, Chloe. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ; Daniel has been a Tampa Bay resident for 10 years. Dan was a generous and devoted father to his children and a loving partner to his wife. Dan was enamored by his three lively grandchildren who were the light of his life and he visited them often, demonstrating love, kindness, and extreme patience. He always followed his passions and his dreams and provided an exceptional life for his family. A successful Marketing Executive for 35+ years, he courageously began painting again six years ago and just recently started having gallery openings and sold his first commissioned artwork. Dan lived by the belief that actions speak louder than words and he never hesitated to be there for friends and family. He leaves behind many loved ones who will attest that his actions were indeed loud and they remain forever in our hearts, as does he. He was an active member of the Dunedin Fine Art Center. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can go to Feeding Tampa Bay (www.feedingtampabay.org) in his memory. Online condolences can be made at www.blountcurrywest.com.
