Milligan, Father David Charles passed from this life July 23, 2015. He was born in Wauchula, Florida, on December 27, 1924. He served in the Marine Corps from December, 1941, until his honorable discharge in October, 1953, seeing combat in five Pacific battles of World War II and in the Korean War. Father David was a Deacon for seven years at St. Gregory’s Eastern Orthodox Church in Seffner, and served forty years as Priest at this and other churches. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary June; four adopted sons, one deceased; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one sister. Services will be as follows: Vespers with Trisagian at 6 pm. Wake 7-8pm, both on Sunday July 26. The funeral will be at 11:00 am, preceded by Divine Liturgy at 9:00 am on Monday July 27. All services will be held at St. John Greek Orthodox Church, 2418 Swann Avenue, Tampa. Services are being conducted by Blount Curry MacDill Funeral Home.
