SIMMONS, Don Alan, 71 of Tampa passed away on February 13, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Marcia and his daughter Misty Simmons of Tampa. Born and raised in Illinois; Don and Marcia moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1992. He will be sorely missed, especially for his wonderful sense of humor. Very crafty, he loved woodworking and has built many beautiful pieces over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations may go to West Gate Baptist Church, 5121 Kelly Road, Tampa 33615 in Don’s memory.
