Eric Rafael Sanders

Eric Rafael Sanders, 20, from Tampa passed away on August 13, 2015 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born November 28, 1994 in Queens NY, the son of Eric and Lynette Sanders. He attended and graduated from Gaither High School in 2013 and was Captain of the Basketball Team. He attended the University of Central Florida for one year and was currently enrolled at Hillsborough Community College, in his 3rd year, majoring in Sports Medicine, while working full time at Robyn Story Designs. He attended Grace Family Church in Tampa.

Eric's passion was playing Basketball. From 1998 to 2013, Eric played for several teams. It all started when he was 4 years old playing for Upward Baptist Church league and finished playing for Gaither High School. He was also pursuing his modeling and singing career. In 2014 he became a father to a beautiful baby boy named Eric Jeremiah Sanders who is now 10 months old.

Charming, loving, funny, handsome, intelligent and selfless are just a few words to describe Eric throughout his 20 years of life. Eric was always smiling and laughing. He remained positive in any situation. He loved his family and cherished the moments together.

Eric is survived by his parents, Eric and Lynette of Tampa, his 2 sisters Ni'yah and Lynnise. He also leaves his grandparents George and Pamela Sanders and Sylvia Perez. He is also survived by his son, Eric Jeremiah (Blu) and several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
