ESTEVES, Ernesto, of Carrollwood, Florida passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013. A devout Catholic and retired airline worker, he left this earth finally finding the peace and serenity he lost and longed for ever since the passing of his beloved wife, Alice, on May 30, 2012. His gentle nature and kind soul were available to friend or stranger, and he was loved by those who shared the time between the spaces of our lives we call reality. His kind comes along rarely in a lifetime and he shall be missed. May he rest in peace. Ernesto was predeceased by his parents Manuelo and Paula as well as siblings Tasio, Frank and Raul. He is survived by his son, David Ernest Esteves; sister, Antonia; and grandchildren, Matthew, Gregory and Amanda. A visitation will be held at Gonzalez Funeral Home on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 5-8pm. Funeral services will then be held at 10AM on Saturday, December 21 at the funeral home with interment to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
