Evangeline Maria Xeroteres

Evangeline Marie Xeroteres passed away peacefully on February 4, 2025 at the age of 98. She was born in Nashua, NH on October 18, 1926. She is lovingly remembered and survived by her daughter, Sandra X. Reynolds (Mark); her daughter in law, Brenda Xeroteres; sister, Katherine Noel; grandsons William Reynolds (Roisin); Michael Reynolds ( Sarah); Mike (Mickey) Xeroteres (Keri); Charles (Chuck) Xeroteres (Julia);

12 great grandchildren: Erin, Declan, Luke, Elizabeth, Mary, Grace, Lily, Jackson, Parker, Chloe, Mary, and Madelyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Evangeline was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George; her son, Michael (Charlie) Xeroteres, and her parents, George and Mary Kacivisti of Nashua, NH.; and her siblings Bessie, Susie, Helen, and Mike.

Vangie retired after 44 years as an executive secretary from Winn Dixie. She volunteered for many years at St Joseph Hospital in Tampa and also at St Johns Greek Orthodox Church, where she was a devout parishioner. She also was an active member of the YMCA in North Tampa where she cherished her friendship with her "Workout Buddies". Vangie enjoyed visiting with her family; daily reading, especially her Bible; she loved socializing with her church group, "Y buddies", and her wonderful neighbors. Vangie always believed in good nutrition, exercising, praying, and interacting with people-the key to a balanced life.

She was a big personality in a small package. She had an impact on every person she met. She was courageous, inspirational, kind, loving, funny, full of joy, with a strength of character that was greatly admired by all.

Her family and friends will surely miss her inspiring approach to life, and her loving connections with her family and friends in her unforgettable ways.

A funeral service for Evangeline will be held Friday, February 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2418 W Swann Ave, Tampa, FL 33609. Following the funeral service will be an entombment at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
