

89, lifelong resident of Tampa, passed to the Lord April 17th, 2015. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Adelfa; daughter, Sandra (Wayne) Odell; grandchildren, Aracely and Alex; sister, Annie (Nelson) Maida; sisters-in-law, Esmeralda Boan and Nancy Messina; niece, Brenda Ciccarello; and many other nieces and nephews. Frank was so proud to be a WWII Veteran serving his country honorably. He was honored with a Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and many other medals of valor. He was a dedicated teacher with Hillsborough County Schools for 36 years. He achieved the following degrees: B.S. Business Administration, B.S. Education, Master in Leadership Administration from UT and UF. Frank was a member of the John Darling Mason Lodge, the Disabled American Veteran, the American Legion, and the VFW. Frank’s life centered totally around his family, work, and friends. May his ascension to a better life in heaven be his reward for his faithfulness to God and family, honesty, and quick wit. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23rd from 6-8pm at Blount & Curry, 605 S. MacDill Ave. The funeral mass will be Friday, April 24th at 10am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH), 1711 E. 11th Ave with an entombment to follow at Myrtle Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to OLPH Church. Arrangements are being handled by Blount & Curry-MacDill.
