

Gay Corinne Robbins ”Gg” 88, was born February 14, 1936, in Niagara Falls, New York and passed away on September 12, 2024. She was the only child of John and Margaret Nicholson. Gay attended Plant High School in Tampa and met her true love Jerry Robbins, who was attending Jesuit High School. After graduation, she went on to the University of Florida and was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Jerry and Gay were married in 1956. Gay is survived by her son, Jerome G. Robbins, II “Jay” (Alice) and her daughter, Kellee Corinne Kudzinski. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jerome G. Robbins, III “Jack” (Katherine), Margaret Robbins Wright (Landon), Corinne Kudzinski, Ella Kudzinski and her great-grandchildren Lillian Robbins, Emma Robbins, Yvonne Wright and Elizabeth Wright. She was predeceased by her mother, father and husband. Gay enjoyed life as a housewife, friend, and mother. She was an active member of the Junior League of Tampa, Christ the King Church, President of the Parents Club at Christ the King School, and loved to model for her favorite boutiques at holiday style shows. Gay, ever the fashion maven, enjoyed sports, especially the Gators and Buccaneers, and was an avid tennis, competitive bridge player and dancer. She loved going out to eat with friends and family, often choosing her dessert before ordering dinner. She relished Monday bridge group, birthday celebrations with her dancing cake, family summer trips to the beach and baking holiday sugar pecans. All-in-all Gay was a sweet, kind, loving woman and she will be missed dearly by her friends and family. The family would like to thank the staff at Canterbury Towers and Life Path Hospice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ the King Church on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 10:00 am followed by a Celebration of Life at Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
