77, of Tampa, FL, passed away on Thursday, December 11th at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in Ft. Meade, FL. He graduated from the University of Florida. He worked for several engineering firms in Lakeland, Atlanta, Clearwater, and Tampa. For the last 30 years he was a self-employed Consulting Engineer. He was a member of The First Presbyterian Church of Tampa and an Elder in the Presbyterian Church. He was an Eagle Scout and led several scout troops. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Virginia Green; two sons, Benjamin (Cecelia) of Bakersville, NC and Christopher (Carey) Green of Tampa, FL; three grandchildren, Brandon and Emily Green of Tampa, FL , and Erin Green of Bakersville, NC; brother, James (Doris) Green of Palm Harbor, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Monday, December, 15th, from 9-10am at Blount & Curry – MacDill Chapel. A funeral service will follow immediately after at 10am. Burial will take place in Fort Meade, FL.
