Gilda A. Barnhill (Greco) peacefully passed away at her home in Tampa on Christmas morning. She was 75 years old. Gilda is survived by Robert, her husband of fifty years, by her sister Sandra Diaz (Bill), by nephews Bill (Gina) and Anthony (Bridget), six great nephews and nieces, and many cousins.
Gilda was born in Tampa on May 1, 1947, to the late Joseph and Marian Greco. She graduated from H.B. Plant High School in 1966. Gilda married Robert in 1972. She worked many years for Mid State Homes in Tampa prior to her retirement.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4th from 11am to 1pm at Blount Curry Macdill. Gilda will be interred privately.
Gilda was blessed with two friends and extraordinary caregivers who never gave up, Sue Bowers and Junya Eichholz. She received excellent care from LifePath Hospice (thank you Bill, Georgia, Sergio).
