Craig worked in auto parts sales, proudly serving with AutoNation. Beyond his work, Craig was a man of simple joys. He was Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a loyal follower of Ohio State football. He loved the thrill of NASCAR, the comfort of classic old movies, and the joy of music—when he worked as a DJ, filling rooms with energy and rhythm.
Craig enjoyed sitting at the beach or Courtney Campbell Causeway, watching and listening to the waves, where he would mentally relax. He loved mini road trips, often turning them into unforgettable adventures. But above all, Craig’s heart belonged to Letashia Anderson Long known as “Letty” his wife, who was his partner, confidant, and greatest joy.
Craig was preceded in death by his Parents, James Edgar Long and Elsie Marie Moser.
Craig leaves his wife Letashia Anderson Long, four children, Adam Long, Jarrod Long, Samantha Leonard, Michelle Schlund, three Stepchildren Darnell Anderson, David Hill Jr., Alexaundria Brascom, two Bonus Daughters, fifteen Grandchildren, Sisters Pat Keener, Pam Long, Barbra Gademer, Nieces, and Cousins.
Special Thanks to the Nurses, Doctor and Chaplain at Chapter Lifepath Hospice Home Care for their patience and understanding during the care of Craig.
