

On Tuesday, September 2nd, the world lost a remarkable soul as Herminia “Tata” Rosado passed away peacefully at the age of 105. Her century-spanning life was a living history, filled with love, laughter, and resilience.
Born on August 13,1920 in Santo Domingo, Tata lived through more than a century of change, embodying resilience, wisdom, and grace. Living in Puerto Rico, New York and eventually Tampa, she witnessed generations of family grow and thrive, and her life became a bridge between the past and the present.
Tata was known for her kindness, quick wit, and unwavering spirit. She treasured time with her family, loved to cook, garden and dance, and often shared stories that reminded those around her of the importance of faith, family, and perseverance.
She is survived by her children, Maria Diaz and Charlie Rodriguez, as well as 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and countless friends and extended family who will cherish her memory.
Her family takes comfort in knowing that her extraordinary life touched so many, and her legacy will continue through the generations she nurtured.
