IT'S CRAZY!! YOU are truly Missed!! I adore My daughter in law & MY grandchildren. I apologize for any " I'll will or negative sentiments. I'VE come to terms & although will forever grieve the loss of MY first born child; I'll forever be grateful for Meghan Haggerty FILMORE!! THANK YOU for being a wife & MOTHER to MY son. I know he didn't HAVE a lotta positive memories of his upcoming while in MY care & custody. MY name " tatted" on his forearm/ speaks his heart!!!

I was thinking of the weekend we put the Murphy Bed together with Uncle Charlie and listening to you two banter back and forth about who was going to sleep in it that night both doing all you could to get the other to get it  .

There is not a day that goes by where I am somewhere in this cabin and dont remember many special fun times. I see this picture and  think about how you helped make sure Uncle Charlie and I put the Murphy Bed together the right way and then later debated on which of you two would be the better man and sleep on the couch so the other could have the bed . We all miss you big guy . It hurts that you are not here physically but I watch your family and see how strong they are and even in their moments of grief and pain, your influence shines and they manage to pull through. Rest in Peace Howie 

I wa sitting here this morning remembering your visit as we hung out in the woods at the new property before we started to build. I miss our short chats big guy. I know you are watching over your family and I hope you realize how much they miss you because it is truly them returning the love you provided while you were here. Fly high with the angels my friend. Keep that fantastic smile.

To my Lil’ Big Bro Howie, you will be so missed by so many people, who’s lives you have touched and made an impact on. Your smile was contagious and your positivity towards life was admirable. We will always have our memories of you to hold onto and your legacy will surely be passed down to your three beautiful children and always carried by your dedicated wife Megan. As the tears flow, I will hold on to, and  remember all of the great times and memories you left behind. That alone brings a smile to my face and a happiness in my heart when I think of you, especially when we were younger. You’ll always be my little brother and I’ll carry you in my heart until we meet again. Until Valhalla Lil’ Bro.

Howard , I am going to miss you and your surprise visits. When you get up there look up my Uncle Charlie . You'll like him and he'll take you under his wing. We'll need you to watch over us while we all reach out to make sure your family does ok. I for one will never let your legacy go away and will always share the good things with your kids. Thanks for stepping in to my life when you did and taking care of my baby. We will do our best to take care of yours. Much love and respect big guy.

Howard is survived by his father, Howard Filmore; mother, Faith Shockley; his loving wife, Megan Filmore; and his 3 beloved children, Aniah, Kaelyn and Cameron as well as his larger extended family of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
