88, of Tampa, passed away on Saturday, April 7th. She was born in Chicago on February 15, 1930 to Salvatore Salla and Anna Ursini. She attended school in Oak Park and graduated from Oak Park High School in 1947. After marrying Richard Campbell in 1948, they moved to Tampa in 1952. It was here that she spent the rest of her life raising her children, making good friends and building a successful career. She was a professional trailblazer, becoming the first female retail store manager for Belk Lindsey located, at the time, in Britton Plaza. She loved the area and frequented many South Tampa classics including Zichex, Pinarama, Jai Alai and the Colonnade, to name a few. She was a beloved and cherished mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her second husband George Yagjian; her parents; sister, Violet Koclanes; brother, Salvatore, Jr; daughter, Margaret Campbell; and grandson, Jason Campbell. She is survived by many family members who cherished her including her children, Karen and Richard Campbell; grandchildren: Rachel Russell, Josh Chapin, Jeremy Campbell and Suzanne Geerholt; great grandchildren: Ryan, Jake, Bailey, Bryce, Mason, Carter, Noah, Abigail, Zachary, and Hannah; sister, Gloria White; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and treasured friends. There will be a gathering of friends and family starting at 4pm with a Celebration of Life to follow on Wednesday, April 11th at 5pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S.
