65, of Tampa, FL, passed away on Wednesday, April 15th surrounded by family. Born and raised in Tampa, FL, he graduated from Plant H.S. in 1967 and then joined the US Army Reserve, 231st Medium Boat Company. He started a clothing store, Bogart’s Joint in 1971. Later, he opened Jimmy Mac’s in 1974 which was a S. Tampa staple. Jimmy Mac’s is currently in Bryson City, NC. He was preceded in death by his father, James Louis McNorrill Sr.; and sister, Janet McNorrill. He is survived by his wife, Betty McNorrill; son, Anthony (Felicia) McNorrill; James (Grace) McNorrill III; daughter, Amanda McNorrill; grandchildren: Katelyn and James McNorrill IV; parents, George and Hilda North. A visitation will be held on Sunday April 19th, from 2-4pm at Blount & Curry MacDill Chapel, 605 S. MacDill Ave. A funeral service will be held on Monday April 20th at 5pm at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 4311 W.
