Janet Brown Bee passed away on July 22, 2024 in Tampa, Florida at the age of 89. Janet was born in Utica, New York on February 6, 1935. She graduated from Sebring High School and later received a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Tampa.
Janet was preceded in death by the love of her life, Gerald H Bee, Jr. She worked as a Claims Representative for the Social Security Administration. Janet was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, had a passion for animals and enjoyed decorating her home.
She is survived by her son Gerald Michael (Kayo) Bee and her daughter Kelly (David) Duncan as well as her grandchildren Matthew (Karly) Duncan, Kasey (Nick) Sharpe, Jessica Bee Mimbs, and Nicole, Danny “Bud,” Andrew and Abigail Laska. Janet was also a proud great - grandmother and is survived by her great- grandchildren Millie, Jack and Elle Sharpe and Dakota Duncan. Janet is also survived by her sister Joan Marshall.
A private family graveside service will be held at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
