Jason was born on January 29, 1972 in Cleveland, Ohio, to Raymond and Shirley Foglia. He was raised in Pittsburgh, PA, before moving to Longwood, FL, where he graduated with honors from Lake Brantley High School and gained an incredible group of friends with whom he spent countless hours riding BMX bikes and sharing a love of music.
He graduated with honors from the University of Florida – Warrington College of Business and was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity. After college he moved to Atlanta and worked for Rich’s, first as department manager then transitioned into finance for special projects. Jason then returned to Orlando in 1997 to pursue a successful career on the finance side of commercial construction, ultimately ending up at PCL Construction Services.
While living in downtown Orlando, Jason enjoyed spending time with friends both old and new. In 2000, he joined the 10-year high school reunion committee. It was there a mutual friend introduced him to his heart and future wife, Sarah Montgomery. The two married on March 10, 2007 at the Vinoy Renaissance Resort in St. Petersburg. FL, and lived together in Orlando, FL, until relocating to Tampa, FL, in 2010. Throughout their relationship they spent much of their time together on incredible travel adventures and sharing their lives with close friends and family.
Jason was an avid music lover and storyteller and had a strong passion for fast cars, racing, organization, and travel. He also was a talented cook and enjoyed creating large Sunday dinners to share with friends and family. Jason was known for his quick wit, selfless character, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
Jason passed away knowing that life was better with a loving wife, delicious food, vibrant sunrises, ocean views, and good music. His contagious energy and appreciation for the little things in life made him one of the most creative, intelligent, and genuine souls all were blessed to know.
Jason is survived by his wife, Sarah; father, Raymond; mother, Shirley; brother, Matt (wife Stephanie); sister, Marissa; niece, Savanna; nephew, Michael; his new puppy, Enzo; and a multitude of cousins, aunts, uncles, and many others whom he collected along the way and held close to his heart like family.
