I am so sorry we were out of town and unable to attend this service.  I enjoyed Jeanne’s warmth, spirit, generosity, and volunteerism for many years at school and with band.   My sincere condolences to you and the girls.   The heaviness of her loss will always be buoyed by the wonderful memories you all have.  Anyone that knew her even a little knew how fiercely she loved you all.    God Bless.

Vacation to Saginaw Michigan with cousins and grandparents in the late 70’s.  Beautiful memories.

I remember all the fun times with our kids at Barnes and Noble. You sure loved being a mom and you adored your family. I know how much you will be missed.

JEANNE although you will be missed , it gives us peace to know you are now at rest. There will be no more pain for you.   We know you are now lying in the arms of the angels.

I was going to read this letter to you on Tuesday, but you had already gone home to be with Jesus…
Jeanne, every good and perfect gift comes from above James 1:15. That gift is you my precious sister, my best friend, my person my everything. I’m so grateful God made you. You have blessed my life in so many ways. Always loving me and being there for me.

Did you know that you will get a crown when you go to paradise? A beautiful tiara. I guess you’ll be going before me so please pick me out a good one. I want you to know that your life mattered. That you have touched so many lives with your light and love.

You raised two incredible daughters and were the best mom to them!

I know that you are worried that you won’t be a part of their future, but I will take up the torch for you if they will let me.. Don’t lose heart, baby rest and run into the arms of Jesus. 
He’s got a beautiful room ready for you in his mansion. As soon as you arrive, you will no longer be sick! You will be perfect and healthy, laughing and dancing with the angels.

Selfishly, I am jealous and also terribly sad because you won’t be here anymore, but you will be in heaven and no longer suffering or sick.

I will miss you more than you know. 

I want you to know that it’s OK to go when you’re ready. You fought so hard being incredibly brave and I love you with all of my heart.
I am not saying goodbye to you because I will be with you someday in Paradise. We can share a room together just like we did when we were little. 

We will be together forever.  The best part of all is that we will live in a place where no one gets sick nobody is hungry, and No one dies.  Eternal life!

My heart is full of gratitude for every moment we shared, especially the most recent ones. Watching you fight with such courage and grace is a constant reminder of what true resilience looks like.
