

Born in Staten Island, New York, JoJo grew up in Westerleigh and graduated from St. Joseph Hill Academy High School. She attended Niagara University and graduated with her B.A. in Travel and Tourism Management. She worked as a Senior Corporate Travel Consultant for various Fortune 500 companies including American Express. JoJo was proud to win the American Express Pacesetter Award, an annual recognition program that honors their top-performing travel consultants.
JoJo met the love of her life Joseph Bucantis while they were working together and a few years later they got married on the beach in Sanibel, Florida. For the last two decades, JoJo and Joe have lived happily in the Westchase area of Tampa, Florida and they loved spending time with their dogs Bosco and Woody. JoJo generously volunteered her energy and talents to numerous charities including Project Chemo Crochet, sending crocheted blankets to those battling cancer.
JoJo is survived by her husband Joseph Bucantis, her father and mother Dr. William H. Howe and Joan Howe, her siblings William A. Howe, Susan Howe Ryker, and Timothy Howe, her sister-in-law Lori Howe, her niece Hannah Ryker, and her nephews Peter Ryker and Ayden Howe.
