A beloved father, son, brother and friend. Jonathan (Cano) was passionate about life, spreading love to everyone he met. He was a loving father to Jada, Jayleen (Chichi), Jonas, Jialisse (Jia) and Mia. He shared a special bond with all his children; he taught Jonas (only son) to love cars as much as he did. Jonathan is also survived by his loving fiancée Keren, they created a beautiful blended family and she supported his passion for cars; his only sister Joalisse; his mother Lissie and father Tony (mi viejo).
Jonathan loved to cook spanish food (loved "churrasco") and to hang out with his friends and family. He was an avid car lover and founder of Corredores Inc. and welcomed anyone who shared his love for cars. Jonathan was proud of his "hooked up" Suzuki Samurai that was recently repaired. He would arrange and promote "corridas" to raise funds and spend time with friends and family.
Jonathan was devoted to his career and was most proud of his work as the Lead Electrical Supervisor with Borrell Electric Company on the University of Tampa Ars Sonora Bell Tower Project that he recently completed. He often made mention that this project would forever be a symbol for the Tampa community and he would always be able to show his children that he led the electrical team to complete this one of a kind monument.
His memory will live forever through his work and the hearts of his family and friends. Jonathan loved making people laugh and was beloved by everyone who met him. If you were blessed enough to have Jonathan as your friend, you had a friend for life.
We will always remember his contagious laugh, loving personality and hard work and he will remain in our hearts forever.
A visitation for Jonathan will be held Friday, June 10, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33614.
