Joseph Earl Blouin Jr. died April 1, 2026, after a brief illness. He was 80. A native of New Orleans and long-time resident of Tampa, Joe practiced architecture, most recently at Harvard-Jolly Architecture in St. Petersburg. He enjoyed competitive sailing and was part of the Davis Island Yacht Club community.
Survivors include his wife, Keith; sons Conner and Sam (Caroline); two grandchildren; and brother, Jerry (Nancy).
A funeral service is planned for 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 16th, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 509 N. Florida Avenue, Tampa. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation to one of the following: PARC Center for Disabilities (St. Petersburg); Beth-El Farmworkers Mission (Wimauma); or St. Vincent de Paul Society (Sacred Heart).
