Josephine Beiro Agliano

Josephine Beiro Agliano was born June 9, 1926 in Tampa (Roberts City) Florida to Rose and Manuel Beiro. She attended Jefferson High School and graduated from the University of Tampa with a degree in Elementary Education. Josephine is predeceased by her parents and grandchild Rosalynn Rivas. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Sam, sons Frank and David Agliano, daughter, Sarah Rivas (Rene), sister Rose Ramona Barus. She also leaves grandchildren Jennifer A. Cheney (Josh), Chris Agliano, Courtney Agliano, Renee R. Bollin (Pat), Reghan Rivas as well as her great grandchild Taylor Cheney. Josephine always remembered with fondness the children and families at BC Graham where she taught most of her teaching years. The years after teaching were spent helping where needed at Sam’s business, Gator of Florida. Josephine was a 50 year plus charter member in her teachers’ sorority Alpha Delta Kappa – Alpho Rho Chapter. She also was a member of Sacred Heart Ladies Guild. She loved traveling together with her husband Sam and friends and other family members. Visitation will be Friday January 22 from 10am-12pm at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave., Tampa FL 33609. A funeral service will follow at 12pm in the funeral home.
