

Ken was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 24, 1934 to Milton Saylor and Verlie (York) Saylor.
His parents Milton & Verlie, sisters Bonnie, Betty, and JoAnne, and brother Milton Jr. preceded him in death.
Ken is survived by his loving wife, Helen, sons Eric and Tim (Tracey Williams) Saylor, grandchildren Matthew (Ashley Duval) Saylor and Kaitlyn Saylor Gonyer (Bradley Gonyer), four great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and his oldest brother Carl Saylor.
Ken volunteered for the Army from 1955 to 1957. He served in Korea as a cook during his time in the service and made countless meals for the troops.
Ken's professional career started at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, and later at Haughton Elevator in Toledo, Ohio as a draftsman. He joined the team at ARCO Inc. to pursue his designs in construction. Later in years he joined Seaway Foodtown in Maumee, Ohio to design and oversee the building and maintenance of new and old supermarkets. Ken was offered a job in sales with Tyler Refrigeration in the supermarket industry and a move to their Florida territory.
Later, Ken joined Kysor-Warren Refrigeration sales department which took he and family to Wisconsin for several years. He later took a job with Hill Phoenix Refrigeration sales and returned to Florida. Working into his 70's, he became the Vice-President of Sales for Arneg USA LLC, which allowed him to travel the world.
Ever the consummate professional and gentleman, Ken made many friends which remained friends with him until his departure from this world.
In his retirement age, Ken enjoyed woodworking and building entertainment units, bookcases, doll cases, as well as fancy bird houses and butterfly houses.
